You Energy Volley was founded in the summer of 2018 and immediately took part in the A2 championship by purchasing the sports rights from Volley Aversa. Gas Sales Bluenergy Volley Piacenza is in its sixth consecutive season in SuperLega in seven years of existence.
On its debut in A2, 2018-2019 season, it won the A2 Italian Cup and was promoted to SuperLega thanks to the victory of the A2 championship.
2019-2020 season: it took part in the SuperLega championship and finished the Regular Season in 10th place (out of 13 teams) with 18 points.
2020-2021 season: it finished the Regular Season in 6th place (out of 12 teams) with 37 points. It took part in the Scudetto Play Offs, eliminated by Trento in the quarterfinals.
Season 2021-2022: closes the Regular Season in 6th place (out of 13 teams) with 37 points.
Season 2022-2023: closes the Regular Season in 6th place (out of 12 teams) with 34 points. Participates in the Play Offs scudetto, in the quarterfinals in Game 5 defeats Modena, in the semifinals in Game 5 is defeated by Trento. Plays the Play Offs 3rd – 4th place and wins with Allianz Milano in three games gaining access to Europe where it will play the Cev Champions League.
Season 2023-2024: closes the Regular Season in 3rd place (out of 12 teams) with 43 points. Participates in the Play Offs scudetto, in the quarterfinals in Game 5 is defeated by Allianz Milano.
Season 2024-2025: closes the Regular Season in 5th place (out of 12 teams) with 39 points. Participates in the Play Offs for the Scudetto, in the quarter-finals it beats Rana Verona in three games, in the semi-finals it is beaten in three games by Itas Trentino
