Another important recognition in blue for Cisterna Volley: the young middle blocker Jacopo Tosti has received a new call-up with the Under 19 National team. The call came on the recommendation of the Technical Director of the Men’s Youth National Teams, Vincenzo Fanizza, and the first coach Francesco Conci. Tosti will take part in the training camp scheduled from 16 to 25 June in Camigliatello Silano (CS), at the Hotel Tasso, where he will train together with the best talents of the Italian youth volleyball scene. Tosti will experience the second training camp after having concluded the first retreat last Thursday 11 June, to best prepare for the World Championships of the category, an event scheduled from 21 July to 3 August in Uzbekistan.

Born in 2008, Tosti is coming off a season full of emotions and results: last summer he won the title of Under 17 World Champion, participated in the Under 18 European Championships, and then returned to the forefront with the Marino Pallavolo and Cisterna Volley jerseys, contributing with the Under 19s to the prestigious fourth place obtained in the National Finals. To crown this journey, he also made his debut in the SuperLega with the Cisterna Volley jersey. This new call-up to the national team represents an important recognition for the growth path undertaken by the young central player and a further source of pride for the Pontine club.
