Joy Volley continues to work hard ahead of their debut in the upcoming Serie A3 Credem Banca championship. The red-and-white team, led by coach Sandro Passaro, is alternating intense training sessions in the Pascal weights gym with technical and tactical sessions at PalaCapurso, aiming to be at their best for the first competitive matches of the season.
Summer preparations are crucial not only for improving physical condition, but also for cementing the team’s identity, strengthening interdepartmental understanding, and consolidating game mechanics. In this sense, the first real test will come in two weeks with a joint training session on the Aurispa DFV Lecce field, a useful opportunity to test themselves against a top-tier opponent and assess their level of growth after the first few weeks of training.
Alongside the on-field work, the club has also outlined guidelines for the locker room: Romolo Mariano will once again take on the role of captain, having been reappointed for his experience and ability to be a point of reference in crucial moments. Alongside him, as vice-captain, will be Matteo Paris, an athlete of charisma and personality, ready to further unite the team and staff.
