Joy Volley performed well on Saturday afternoon, facing Aurispa DFV Lecce in a joint training session designed to get some minutes in their legs and assess the work done during these weeks of preparation.

After a difficult start, with the home team winning the first set, captain Mariano and his teammates responded with determination, turning the score around and winning the next three sets. Three sets were played evenly, while the fourth was played to 15 points, providing further evidence of pace and concentration.

At the end of the test, coach Passaro was pleased with the team’s performance: “This was the first of a long series of tests, and the attitude is right. The boys have pushed hard in their preparation these past weeks, and the fact that I was able to field the entire squad means everything is going well. We must continue to work with focus and dedication to improve every aspect.”

Joy Volley will return to the field on Wednesday, again in Salento, for another joint training session against Green Volley Galatone.
