The Under 14 team of the Kioene Pallavolo Padova Academy bids farewell to the Del Monte Boy League – 26th edition of the “Coppa Enrico Bazan” with a well-deserved fifth place. In the match valid for the 5th-6th place final, which took place this morning at the Palasport Allende in Fano, the young black and whites beat their rivals from Cuneo 2-1, thus highlighting the progress made throughout the season on a technical and mental level.

Engaged in the Final Eight organized by the Lega Pallavolo Serie A in collaboration with FIPAV, with the Virtus Fano company and with the Municipality of Fano, together with the Apav Calcinelli-Lucrezia company, the team from Padua was included in group F, together with Itas Trentino, Gas Sales Bluenergy Piacenza and Romeo Sorrento. After an intense first phase, the black and whites closed the group in third place, thus accessing the final for the 5th-6th place, then won by Kioene Padova.

The Del Monte Boy League represented a stage of excellence for the Italian youth movement, involving for three days in the Pesaro Urbino area some of the best youth sector entities of Serie A. For the boys of the U14 Padova, a precious opportunity to compete with high-level opponents and live a formative experience on and off the field.
