The roster is set, providing a solid basis for an initial assessment—offered by Claudio Bigi, CEO of Volley Altotevere (and recently re-elected president of the Upper Tiber Valley branch of Confindustria Umbria)—regarding the role ErmGroup aims to play in the Serie A3 Credem Banca “White” pool, with ambitions for promotion. “I won’t delve into the technical aspects of the new first-team squad,” Bigi states immediately, “because we have a sporting director in whom the club places full confidence. We entrusted the roster’s construction to Valdemaro Gustinelli, and we are convinced by the work he has done. Volley Altotevere has grown through a gradual and sustainable process—a philosophy that has allowed us to make significant strides over the past four seasons, coming within a whisker of the play-off final. The team placed in the hands of Monaldi and Marra has been assembled to take the next step forward.
