From May 30 to June 2, the Under 15 team of the Kioene Pallavolo Padova Academy will take part in the FIPAV National Finals, scheduled between Fondi and Gaeta, where the best 28 teams in Italy will compete for the title of the category.
A result of great prestige for the Juventus youth sector, the result of a season built with commitment, perseverance and team spirit, as coach Alice Biasini, leading the U15 group, explains: “The National Finals always represent the goal we set ourselves at the beginning of the season. Qualifying is what drives us to work every day in the gym. Some years it is easier, others more difficult, and it does not always depend on us: sometimes the level of the teams we face along the way also has an impact. Reaching this goal means having achieved the basic objective we had set ourselves”.
The path to the Finals was overall linear. “It’s been a fairly consistent journey,” Biasini continues. “There have been periods in which we’ve played better, others in which we’ve struggled a bit more, but without any particular setbacks or problems, and we hope it continues like this. The Under 15s are a special year: as I always tell the kids, it’s the transition from little volleyball to big volleyball. It’s a year in which they have to learn a lot and, in my opinion, week after week we’ve managed to build what we set out to do, with consistency and small steps.”
