Leonardo Scanferla will be a player for MINT Vero Volley Monza. The libero born in 1998, who has been playing for Gas Sales Bluenergy Piacenza for 6 seasons, will officially be part of the Brianza roster in the 2025/26 season.
Scanferla, 26, began his volleyball career in the youth teams of Kioene Padova, where he made his debut in the SuperLega in the 2017/18 season thanks to promotion to the first team. In 2018 he moved to Centrale Del Latte Sferc Brescia, with whom he played in the Serie A2 championship, finishing in fourth place. In 2019 he arrived at Gas Sales Bluenergy Piacenza, where he spent the next six years of his career, winning the Italian Cup in 2023. In 2021 he was called up for the first time to the senior national team: wearing the blue jersey he won the World Championship in 2022.
