The Under 15s of Cucine Lube Civitanova climb to the lowest step of the podium at the National Finals of the category in Fondi and Gaeta. After the Sunday slip in the very tough challenge against their peers of the Allianz Diavoli Rosa Brugherio, the team coached by Federico Belardinelli and Donato Di Ruvo had the mental strength and athletic brilliance to immediately get back up, overcoming Kioene Padova in the Final for the bronze with the maximum margin (25-13, 25-22, 25-20). From the first set, dominated, the team from the Marche took control of the inertia of the match with a start that was nothing short of aggressive, to then win the second act with a comeback and close the accounts without worries in the following set.
To make the red and white podium even sweeter, the award for best setter in Italy went to Matteo Talevi, a guarantee for Lube. Thomas Primerano stood out in the tournament for his scoring ability, mentions also for Tommaso Bucciarelli. A note of merit for the entire team and for the libero born in 2013 Giuseppe Meuli (2/3 years under age).
