With transfer negotiations now underway, with a roster solidified even before the three-day Bologna event at the Zanhotel & Meeting Centergross in Bentivoglio, Cucine Lube Civitanova is looking ahead with a nearly unchanged coaching staff and a confirmed medical team. While waiting to set the official date for the training camp, the team without internationals will certainly meet at the Eurosuole Forum shortly after mid-August.
As already known, head coach Giampaolo Medei will be able to count on newcomer Francesco Oleni as assistant coach. A thumbs up goes to head coach Max Merazzi, in his fifteenth season with the red and whites. Adding value to the group are two close-knit assistant coaches, Enrico Massaccesi and Matteo Zamponi, as well as scout Alessandro Zarroli, one of the most experienced statisticians in the SuperLega.
The entire medical staff will continue to be staffed by managers Mariano Avio and Danilo Compagnucci, physiotherapists Marco Frontaloni and Tommaso Pagnanelli, and nutritionist Alessandro Marinelli. Externally, distinguished professionals will support the staff, such as Massimo Balsano, now national president of the Italian Society of Spinal Surgery.
