Luca Loreti, libero for Gas Sales Bluenergy Volley Piacenza, has reached the final with the Italian Under-21 national team at the World Championships currently underway in Jiangmen, China.
In the semifinals, the team coached by Vincenzo Fanizza defeated the Czech Republic 3-0 (25-20, 25-22, 25-18), securing a spot in the final.
Italy will return to action tomorrow, Sunday, August 31st, at 2:00 PM (Italian time) for the final match of the tournament: their opponent is Iran, who defeated the United States 3-0 (25-21, 25-20, 25-20) in the semifinals.
A great men’s under-21 national team has therefore reached its second consecutive final in the category’s world championship, after the 2023 edition in Bahrain, which it then lost 3-2 to Iran, its opponent once again tomorrow in the final of the event.
