The setter arrives in Macerata after last year’s en plein in Sorrento, eager to win again. And why not, already in the Marche.
Piedmontese by birth, Alessandro began playing at the age of eleven in Volley Parella Torino, a company that accompanied his entire growth path, also allowing him to participate in the second national series. The experience and his good plays in series B attracted the attention of Romeo Sorrento who opted to immediately add him to the roster of last year’s A3 series: a magical year for Alessandro who, together with his team, conquered everything possible. Promotion to A2 – with a thrilling finale against Belluno -, victory of the Coppa Italia and the Supercoppa of the category. “A real dream – says Alessandro – that I hope to be able to repeat in the future, perhaps already in Macerata”.
Born in 2005 and 188 cm tall, the setter arrives in the Marche region with very clear ideas about his future and why he decided to join the next Banca Macerata Fisiomed. After choosing his jersey number 31 – the inversion of the number that accompanied him in Campania -, Alessandro confided in our microphones.
