An international profile, with a lot of experience behind him and at the same time a lot of enthusiasm for what will be his first time in the Italian Super League: these are the reasons that led Trentino Volley to choose Marcelo Mendez as the new coach of the reigning Italian Champion team.
A sixty-one-year-old Argentine, originally from Buenos Aires but also in possession of an Italian passport, he has signed a two-year contract with the Club on via del Brennero, until June 2027. He arrives in Trento after a significant four-year period in Poland, on the benches of Resovia and Jastrzebski, to inaugurate a new technical path that can make the team take a further leap in quality.
