Dutch middle blocker Fabian Plak, born in 1997 and 198 cm tall, is a new addition to Cisterna Volley. After two seasons as a protagonist with the Sonepar Padova jersey, Plak is preparing to experience his third consecutive year in the SuperLega Credem Banca, the first in the reality of Cisterna di Latina.
Born in Tuitjenhorn on July 23, 1997, Plak began to be part of the senior national team in 2017, with which he won the bronze medal at the European Golden League in 2019. His list of achievements also includes important successes at club level: in Spain, with CAI Teruel, he won the Super Cup and the Copa del Rey in the 2019/2020 season; in France, he lifted the Super Cup and the French Cup wearing the Chaumont Volley-Ball 52 jersey. Plak has gained experience in six different nations, but has identified Italy as the ideal context to continue his sporting growth, after also winning the National Cup in Estonia in 2018.
