Giampaolo Medei (coach Cucine Lube Civitanova): “When we started with this group there were a thousand question marks. I felt an aura of mistrust around us and the project. Then everything changed. I can’t even tell you exactly how it was possible to create such a powerful alchemy, not only among the athletes, but also in the staff, among the managers and the collaborators. Of one thing I am sure, we have created an extraordinary group. It is not a cliché, it can also be an inflated statement in the world of sport, but not if it is associated with me. This is because I have coached valuable teams, but I had never faced a group so compact and dedicated to growth. I believe I have made a personal contribution, but everyone has done their part to ensure that Lube exceeded every rosiest prediction. Including our extraordinary fans, who accompanied and supported us in a magnificent growth process. We worked well together and we were beautiful to watch, even in the difficult times, during all the training sessions without being overwhelmed by fatigue.
