Michael Czerwinski’s baptism in SuperLega was silent but significant, in a growth path full of satisfactions in the final two years with the Cisterna Volley jersey. In his first season in the top series, the young Austrian opposite hitter was able to make space for himself in the mechanisms of Cisterna Volley with patience, physical presence and good answers every time he was called into question.
With 11 sets played over the course of the season, Czerwinski totaled 16 points, including 2 break points, and gave interesting signals especially in attack, where he recorded an efficiency of 43.2%, with 16 perfect attacks out of 37 attempted. A figure that testifies to solidity and growing percentages, especially in the moments in which he had continuity of play.
Less involved in serving and blocking – 3 aces and 4 winning blocks in total – but always ready to give his contribution, Czerwinski demonstrated a good sense of position and important technical margins, highlighted every time he was called on the court by coach Falasca.
