Aurispa Links per la Vita announces that it has reached an agreement to extend the contract with spiker Tiziano Mazzone for the 2025/26 season.
After the reconfirmation of coach Giuseppe Ambrosio, the Salento club has announced the first name that will be part of the roster for the next Serie A3 championship. For Mazzone, it will be the fourth season in a row with the Aurispa Links per la Vita jersey and the revolution that sports director Antonio Scarascia is operating starts with him, after saying goodbye to the rest of the team group.
The Roman spiker explained his desire to stay in Salento: “I was convinced by the fact that I already know the environment and that I feel comfortable, but I would also add the fans, who are the number one in the category.”
Regarding his responsibilities, as the most experienced player in the group, he added: “It’s already in my nature to always try to give my best both in training and in matches, so regardless of my age or the years I’ve been here, I’ve always behaved the same way and the goal is to continue like this, that is, to always give my best.” Finally, he explained that it’s important to set goals: “On a personal level, I always try to improve and I’ll work towards that, also with the help of the coach with whom I got along very well. As for the team goal, I prefer it to be a collective vision and I can’t wait to meet my new teammates to look each other in the eye and decide what goal we want to reach.
