It is a silver medal for the Under 14 team of the Allianz Diavoli Rosa at the Del Monte Boy League – 26th edition of the “Coppa Enrico Bazan”, the exclusive competition reserved for the Under 14 teams of the only clubs belonging to the Consorzio Lega Pallavolo Serie A.
Coach Cavaglieri is satisfied and comments on the experience as follows: “Clearly losing a national final at the most beautiful moment leaves us with a bitter taste in our mouths, on the other hand, the next day, we are still proud of having arrived there to play and to be in the national elite, where only a few kids are lucky enough to be able to participate. The final was a hard-fought match, after our great start the opponents reacted, turning the game around with a great service shift and defending and counterattacking with quality. From a technical point of view I must say that we had a great journey until we reached the final, with the icing on the cake being the great semifinal won against the strong Piacenza.
