MINT Vero Volley Monza begins its fifth week of training, which will conclude on Saturday, September 27th, with a test match against Padova at the Kioene Arena (Palasport San Lazzaro), with warm-ups starting at 4:00 PM. Led by coach Massimo Eccheli, the players will alternate, as usual, between technical sessions and weight training. For captain Thomas Beretta and his teammates, these will be further important training sessions ahead of their first competitive matches. With just under a month to go until their league debut—their twelfth consecutive SuperLega match—scheduled for Tuesday, October 21st (8:30 PM) at the Opiquad Arena against Perugia, the team from Brianza can be satisfied with their preparation.
Last Friday, their 3-2 home win against Campi Reali Cantù yielded encouraging results, with coach Eccheli pleased with what he saw on the court and the contribution of his younger players. All this while waiting to welcome into the gym the four national players who will be protagonists in the world championships in the Philippines (Luka Marttila, Martin Atanasov, Jan Zimmermann and Erik Röhrs), important players on the chessboard of MINT 2025/2026.
