The spotlight is on the new season for MINT Vero Volley Monza. After the summer break, Beretta and his teammates gathered on Wednesday, August 27th, at the Opiquad Arena where, under the guidance of coach Massimo Eccheli and his staff, they underwent the first physical tests that officially kicked off the 2025/2026 season for the Monza-based team.
This morning, Thomas Beretta, Leandro Mosca, Aidan Knipe, Leonardo Scanferla, Alessandro Pisoni, Krisztian Padar, Jacopo Larizza, and Lorenzo Ciampi—who were joined by four young players from the Vero Volley youth sector—resumed their activities, working in the weight room and on the center court of the Opiquad Arena. This afternoon, they will be busy at the Seven Infinity in Gorgonzola, swimming and training. During the preseason, the team will add the latest additions to the roster: among them Diego Frascio and Zhasmin Velichkov, both competing in the U21 World Championships in China, as well as Luka Marttila, Erik Rohrs and Jan Zimmermann, who are training with their respective national teams ahead of the 2025 World Championships, which will be held from September 12 to 28 in the Philippines.
