Two wins in the first two matchdays, including a tie-break and a 3-0 victory, along with an exciting start to the season: this is the common factor between Viridex Sabaudia and Bcc Tecbus Castellana Grotte, the two teams that will face off in the third round of the Credem Banca men’s national A3 volleyball championship. Both teams start from the top of the Blue Group standings with 5 points (a joint top score with Campobasso).
The match is scheduled for Sunday, November 9, 2025, at 6:00 PM at the Pala Vitaletti in Sabaudia. For New Mater Volley, coached by Giuseppe Barbone, this will be their second consecutive away match after their trip to Reggio Calabria, which ended with a dramatic finish. For the Apulian team, the goal is certainly to build on a start to the season that has likely exceeded expectations (even considering their opponents), but which is inspiring a great deal of positivity throughout the team.
