Emma Villas Siena was welcomed at the end of the club’s official season in the Sala delle Lupe of the town hall. It was a beautiful moment, during which the city’s institutions showed their closeness to the Siena volleyball club. The mayor of Siena, Nicoletta Fabio, and the city councilor with responsibility for sport, Lorenzo Lorè, played the honors at the town hall. “For everything you have done this season too, you are a source of pride for Siena,” the mayor said to the members of the white-blue team. “This season we have also experienced difficult moments, but we have managed to maintain positivity in the group and we have played a second part of the season in crescendo until reaching the playoff semifinal,” declared the vice president of Emma Villas Siena, Fabio Mechini on the occasion. The Siena championship ended with game 3 of the playoff semifinals in Brescia.
After the visit to the Sala delle Lupe, the white-blue team held the end-of-season team dinner, experienced in Piazza del Campo at the Spadaforte Restaurant, which is a partner of the club. An intense moment of farewell at the end of a season that has given many emotions and that has kept Emma Villas Siena among the top teams in the men’s A2 volleyball championship.
