Joy Volley Gioia del Colle is pleased to announce the return of Pascal Sabato to the technical staff of the first team, who will serve as athletic trainer for the 2025/2026 sports season.
A highly experienced professional and expert in the world of volleyball, Pascal is a name that needs no introduction. World Bodybuilding Champion and winner of the prestigious 1st prize in the 4th Due Torri Trophy, 82 kg category, in the 90s, he obtained the title of trainer at the Academy of Physical Culture and Athletics in Parma, initially arriving in big volleyball with Prisma Taranto, in the technical staff of Vincenzo Di Pinto from Gioia del Colle.
His CV speaks for itself: eleven seasons between Superleague and Serie A1 (Taranto, Gioia del Colle, Vibo Valentia), thirteen in Serie A2 (Taranto, Gioia del Colle, Castellana Grotte, Matera) and three in Serie B (Castellana Grotte, Corigliano, Gioia del Colle).
He will lead the physical preparation of the red and whites who, starting from the end of August, will be busy between the pool, sand and the “Palestra Pascal” to find the best condition. His work will be crucial to the pursuit of the objectives, for this reason the company has chosen to bring home a professional in the sector.
