Perugia took a 1-0 lead in the Scudetto Semifinal series against Lube. They did it last night, in the early Game 1 match that took place in the exciting setting of a “total white” crowd at the Pala Barton Energy, winning the match against the team from Marche 3-0. A result that, despite being clear, is not synonymous with an easy challenge: on the contrary, the match was a spectacle and was fought for every single ball. Max Colaci also highlighted this last night, immediately after the final whistle:
«This is just our first “little point”, but we need to get to three. I expect a very long series because today, despite the 3-0, it was a very complicated match. Clearly we are happy, what we wanted was to be present immediately and learn something to take home in this series, both for us and for our opponent. What we “take home” are some situations that we could have managed better, on the defense wall, some situations in the change of ball, especially on some hitters. We also take the good things that we did because when we were able to push in the service we were organized in the break phase: these are many aspects on which we naturally work. Starting tomorrow we are already thinking about game 2″.
