After weeks spent in the weight room and on the taraflex to reawaken muscles, mind, and technique, and after three joint training sessions (one draw with Modena and two wins against Modena and Brescia), Gas Sales Bluenergy Volley Piacenza will be the protagonists tomorrow and Sunday at the PalaPanini in Modena, where the 1st Andrea Parenti Memorial Tournament is being played.
They will be playing against the red and whites Rana Verona, Valsa Group Modena, and MA Acqua S. Bernardo Cuneo, newly promoted to the SuperLega.
The schedule includes the two semifinals tomorrow, Saturday, October 4th, and the two finals (4:30 pm for 3rd and 4th place, 7:30 pm for 1st and 2nd place).
In the semifinals, Gas Sales Bluenergy Volley Piacenza will face Rana Verona at the PalaPanini: the match kicks off at 5:00 pm. The other semifinal is between Modena and Cuneo, kicking off at 8:00 pm.
Andrea Parenti was a pillar of Modena Volley, and his memory at the PalaPanini is more alive than ever. The club has decided to name a tournament after him, aiming to be a great celebration and a great show.
Today the red and whites had a double training session: weights and ball training in the morning, and ball training in the afternoon. The group is complete today with the arrival of world champions Gianluca Galassi and Domenico Pace, and Efe Mandiraci.
