Gas Sales Bluenergy Volley Piacenza returns to the spotlight in Europe. Tomorrow, Wednesday, December 10, at 7:30 p.m. (free live coverage on DAZN), they will make their CEV Volleyball Cup debut at the PalaPirastu in Cagliari: the first leg of the Round of 32 will face Czech team Jihostroj Ceske Budejovice.

For coach Boninfante’s red and whites, the home game will be played in Sardinia, at the PalaPirastu in Cagliari, instead of at the PalaSport in Piacenza. The match is organized by the Regional Committee of the Italian Federation of Volleyball Associations (FIPAV) in Sardinia and Gas Sales Bluenergy Volley Piacenza, with the support of the Sardinia Region’s Department of Sport and the Fondazione di Sardegna, and the patronage of the Municipality of Cagliari.

The CEV Volleyball Cup is the second-largest annual European club competition. Gas Sales Bluenergy Volley Piacenza is participating thanks to its fourth-place finish in the 2025 SuperLega Credem Banca Scudetto Playoffs.
