Gas Sales Bluenergy Volley Piacenza is pleased to announce the creation of Gas Sales Bluenergy Sitting Volley, a team that will participate in the upcoming Italian Men’s Serie A1 Sitting Volleyball Championship and the European Cups. This initiative makes our club one of the few in the SuperLega to also embrace this Paralympic sport, which has already seen strong growth in recent years.
This project is the result of a collaboration between three sports clubs in Emilia-Romagna: Gas Sales Bluenergy Volley Piacenza, Giocoparma, and Volley Club Cesena. The latter are pioneers of Sitting Volleyball both nationally and internationally.
The initiative aims to promote inclusion, sport for all, and the enhancement of the local community, offering a concrete opportunity for both people with disabilities and able-bodied individuals to experience volleyball in its Paralympic form.
