The top-flight teams will close out 2025 with the single-game Quarterfinals of the 48th Del Monte® Coppa Italia SuperLega. Four matches are scheduled over the two-day period of Monday, December 29th and Tuesday, December 30th. Adrenaline is running high, as befits a scorching do-or-die round, especially given the caliber of the participants and the high-profile matchups. Predictions are uncertain, and surprises are just around the corner. Only after the games are over will the names of the four semifinalists who will advance to the Final Four, scheduled for February 7th and 8th, 2026, on the taraflex of the Unipol Arena in Bologna be known.
Kickoff is at 8:30 PM for Monday’s only match, between top-seeded Itas Trentino and Vero Volley Monza, ranked eighth at the halfway point. The remaining three matches in the bracket are scheduled for Tuesday. At 7:00 PM, with exclusive VBTV coverage from the Pala Agsm AIM, Rana Verona, second in the first half of the Regular Season, will host Allianz Milano, seventh in the tournament. Thirty minutes later, at 7:30 PM, with exclusive VBTV coverage from the PalaBancaSport, the Via Emilia derby will take place at the PalaBancaSport between Gas Sales Bluenergy Piacenza and Valsa Group Modena. Finally, at 8:30 PM, Sir Susa Scai Perugia will host Cucine Lube Civitanova, the defending champions.
