A new sporting synergy is born in the heart of the Po Delta. Delta Volley Porto Viro and Virtus Taglio di Po 1965 are joining forces for an ambitious project dedicated to women’s youth volleyball. The collaboration will lead to the creation of a joint team that will participate in the U13/U14 Regional Championships, as part of a structured two-year plan focused on long-term growth and the enhancement of the local area.
Training and matches will take place between Porto Viro and Taglio di Po, making the most of the sports facilities at both centers.
Presidents Luigi Veronese (Delta Volley) and Giorgio Fonsato (Virtus Taglio di Po), supported by Massimo Zambonin, Giacomo Trombin, and Nico Fonsato, are delighted with this project aimed at strengthening and developing youth volleyball in the Po Delta.
The technical guidance will be entrusted to Sebastiano Ballo and Ilaria Bonafé, protagonists last season with Delta Volley of excellent results in the U12/U13 mixed championships and a third place regionally in the Trofeo Territoriale Volley S3 – 2nd level.
