Consar Ravenna’s new season, their fourth consecutive in A2, kicks off once again at home against Alva Inox 2 Emme Service Porto Viro, just like two years ago. Today in Bologna, at the conclusion of the three-day Volley Market, the schedule was released during an event hosted by Rai journalist Maurizio Colantoni and featuring a musical interlude by Ron. The announcements also included Legavolley’s sponsorship renewals with Credem Banca for two more seasons, with Del Monte for the Coppa Italia and Supercoppa for the next two seasons, and with Volleyball World, with whom a ten-year partnership has been signed.
Valentini’s team kicks off on October 19th at home at the Pala De Andrè against Porto Viro of the Veneto region. Erati and Giulio Pinali, two former Ravenna players, are on the court, and assistant coach Matteo Bologna is on the bench. The following week, the first away game of the season will take place in Macerata, marking the immediate return of Samuil Valchinov as a former green-and-white player. This will immediately raise the bar for the Ravenna team. Relegated Prisma Taranto, led by former Ravenna coach Gianluca Graziosi, will be their opponent in the third match. Ravenna will then face two consecutive away games, one against Aversa, on the second Sunday of November like last year, and the other against Cantù, who will precede two matches against the newly promoted teams: Lagonegro, visiting the Pala De Andrè on November 23rd, and Sorrento, which awaits Consar on November 30th.
