Rinascita Volley Lagonegro is back on its feet to complete a trio of matches that has condensed a week into a constant test. After two home games against Sviluppo Sud Catania and Prisma La Cascina Taranto, tomorrow afternoon (6:00 PM) – Matchday 9 of the Credem Banca Serie A2 regular season – they travel to Abruzzo to face Abba Pineto: approximately 420 kilometers of road, a journey that’s not particularly long but not easy either, arriving just when the busy schedule demands answers regarding team cohesion, solidity, and the ability to stay together through the strain of three games in seven days. It’s the kind of match that tests not only the team’s stamina, but also, and above all, its team’s consistency.
Tomorrow’s match will not only close out the week: it will also try to tell us what remains in our legs and, above all, in our minds after three different stories told in just a few days. Pineto thus becomes a sort of litmus test for coach Waldo Kantor’s boys, where pace, clarity, and the desire to leave a mark are measured without the need for too many words.
