All is ready at Pian di Massiano for the Block Devils’ first joint practice since their preseason resumed. Cisterna, who also visited PalaBarton Energy last year during this preseason phase, is coming to Perugia.
The Pontine team is preparing for a new season, their third consecutive in the Superleague championship, with some important changes, starting with the change on the bench, with coach Daniele Morato replacing Guillermo Falasca, with Paolo Falabella as assistant coach. The group will arrive in Perugia almost complete: only Turkish spiker Efe Bayram, Canadian libero Landon Currie, and Dutch middle blocker Fabian Plak are missing, all of whom are busy with their respective national teams. In their place, some additions from the youth sector will arrive at PalaBarton Energy to complete the roster.
This year’s great former player will be present: spiker Filippo Lanza, who spent three unforgettable seasons with SIR, from 2018 to 2021.
