Everything is ready for two days of intense excitement at Yuasa Battery, including an official presentation (Superleague and Serie B), dinner with the champions, and even a talk show in the heart of Grottazzolina to welcome the new season. The town, in one of its beating hearts, Piazza Marconi, is preparing to welcome coach Ortenzi’s team on Saturday, September 13th (from 7:00 PM) and Sunday, September 14th (from 4:30 PM), as they embark on their second season in the volleyball elite, the Superleague. Then there’s the Open Day for children (Sunday at 4:30 PM) and a rich food stand featuring local specialties curated by the local Pro Loco.
Who better than Mayor Alberto Antognozzi to recount the emotions of these moments, which further cement the fifty-year relationship between volleyball and Grottazzolina. The mayor, who has always been very close to the fate of Yuasa Battery, has signed up for his first season ticket in the Tribuna Gold and is a regular presence at the PalaSavelli, as well as in the past at the PalaGrotta, which has witnessed decades of excitement and success.

Meanwhile, preparations for these two days are in full swing because the town wants to welcome their champions in the best possible way: “We are preparing with great enthusiasm,” Antognozzi emphasizes, “and with the city’s desire to experience these two wonderful days that will allow us to get to know the team and especially the new arrivals.
