Plus Volleyball Sabaudia continues its preparations for their Serie A3 championship debut, which will take place at the PalaVitaletti in front of a home crowd against Terni on October 26th at 6:00 PM.
After last week’s joint training session with Sviluppo Sud Catania, a Serie A2 team, coach Stefano Beltrame’s team faced another test against Civita Castellana, a useful match to build momentum and consolidate their playing chemistry. In the ensuing practice match, played over the agreed-upon distance at the start of four sets, the two teams put on an interesting showdown at the PalaVitaletti in Sabaudia: the match ended in a 2-2 draw.
“We found a good pattern of play in the second and third sets, after a somewhat tense start,” explained coach Stefano Beltrame. “The opponent played good volleyball and gave us a hard time, while we had to find our rhythm during practice itself. Halfway through the second set and throughout the third, we showed the level of play this team can reach, winning both sets.”
