His name… isn’t a new name! We’re delighted to welcome back Luca Rossato, who returns to PalaSanGiorgio after an unforgettable 2023/24 season.
Born in 2001 in Latina, Luca is a 200-centimeter-tall opposite hitter who has already played six consecutive seasons in Serie A. Having grown up with Sabaudia (Serie C and Serie B), he then spent a year in the youth sector of Top Volley Latina before being signed by Top Volley Cisterna, where he was part of the Superlega roster from 2019 to 2021. In 2021/22, his Serie A3 adventure began with Sabaudia, continuing first in Savigliano and then Ortona. During his four-year stint in the third national division, he scored a remarkable 1,398 points (the seventh-highest scorer in the entire Serie A3), 349 of which came in his final season with Ortona.
He scored a remarkable 517 points in his first Piedmontese stint, which included playoff participation and qualification for the 2023/24 Del Monte Coppa Italia A3 Final Four.
