After a three-week wait, the Itas Trentino men’s team is ready to return to play in front of their home crowd: on Sunday, November 16th, at 5:00 PM at the BTS Arena in Trento, they will face Vero Volley Monza in the fifth round of the 2025/26 SuperLega Credem Banca regular season.
This match will be particularly significant not only for the Gialloblù fans but also for Riccardo Sbertoli, who will be making his 200th appearance in official matches for Trentino Volley. The yellow-blue captain has reached this remarkable figure in just over four seasons: his first game was on October 12, 2021.
During his first 199 matches, he won a Champions League (2024), two Scudetti (2023, 2025), and an Italian Super Cup (2021). To date, he is the only setter in Trentino Volley’s history to have won two Italian titles on the court. He has worn the captain’s armband in 57 of his 199 matches, which he still wears today.
At the top of this list is Matey Kaziyski (433 appearances), followed by Birarelli (345), Colaci (345), Bari (339), Giannelli (315), Lanza (300), Alessandro Michieletto (255), Della Lunga (215), Nelli (208), and Lisinac (206).
