Rinascita Volley Lagonegro announces the reappointment of setter Vincenzo Simone for the 2025/2026 season, culminating a journey of constant growth and determination.
For the 2008-born setter, a Lagonegro native and product of the red and white youth academy, the reappointment represents recognition of his commitment and an important opportunity to continue growing alongside more experienced athletes and under the guidance of the technical staff led by coach Waldo Kantor, who strongly believes in his abilities.
And speaking of pure competitive spirit, Vincenzo deserved this additional opportunity following the excellent results achieved over the years with the youth teams and after beginning his journey within the Rinascita family at just five years old: in 2019, he won the national Under-12 championship, followed by two consecutive Under-15 regional titles (2021 and 2022), and three consecutive Under-17 regional championships, 2023-2024, and 2025. Finally, this year, he also reached the Under-19 regional final.
The Club’s confirmation, therefore, represents not only a reward, but also a bet on the future.
