Rinascita Volley Lagonegro is proud to announce the reconfirmation of setter Lorenzo Sperotto for the 2025/2026 season.
Arriving in Basilicata during the championship (November 2024) from Omifer Palmi, Sperotto was able to immediately establish himself in the control room with charisma and efficiency, becoming a significant technical reference for coach Waldo Kantor and giving considerable solidity to the team.
His arrival in the red and white jersey coincided with a clear turnaround in the results (excluding the defeat in the debut against Avimecc Modica on November 17), culminating then with the extraordinary victory in the Playoff Final against Negrini CTE Acqui Terme which sanctioned the return to the A2 Credem Banca series.
Born in 1999, a native of Mirano (Venice), Sperotto boasts 225 appearances between SuperLega, A2 and A3. He will return to the taraflex of the second national category after having worn the jerseys of Club Italia (2015-2018), Roma Volley (2018-2020) and Reggio Emilia (2022-2024) in the past seasons; in between, the important interlude in the top series with the Itas Trentino jersey (2020-2022), where he won the Italian Supercup in 2021.
