For the third time in its history, the Super Cup reserved for SuperLega clubs will be held in Trieste: its debut in the Friulian capital took place in the 1999/00 season, with TNT Alpitour Cuneo’s victory over Sisley Treviso; in 2007/08, however, it was the Treviso team that celebrated at the end of the final, thanks to a victory over M.Roma Volley.
The times of the semifinals and final, along with the television schedule, will be announced in the coming days.

“It will be a beautiful setting in a truly suitable sports hall, in a charming city, with four top-level teams. Even though the event is still a long way off, I expect the semifinals to be tight and spectacular, given that the trophy will be played between the Regular Season Playoffs, while the Super Cup is often up for grabs early in the season when players are still missing and the teams’ performances are still in their prime. Moreover, our match against Verona will be a remake of the 2025 Coppa Italia Final, a match played very well by both teams and won by Lube in a tie-break.”
