Emma Villas Codyeco Lupi Siena will begin their championship campaign in Pineto, with the first matchday scheduled for October 19th. The first match of the upcoming tournament will see the Tuscans travel to face one of last year’s revelation teams, coached by Simone Di Tommaso (former Siena player). This team appears to have further strengthened its position during this transfer window, with the addition of two well-known volleyball players in Tuscany: middle blocker Stefano Trillini has landed in Pineto after two years in Siena, and Brazilian Matheus Krauchuk has also arrived in Abruzzo this summer. He previously played for Santa Croce sull’Arno (where he played as a spiker) and Siena (where he played as an opposite hitter, reaching the Serie A2 playoff final two seasons ago, before losing to Grottazzolina).
