The Volleyball Transfer Market in Bologna is the event that effectively kicks off the upcoming season: between Tuesday, July 15th and Thursday, July 17th at the Zanhotel & Meeting Centergross in Bentivoglio, coaches and managers from the Superleague, Serie A2, and Serie A3 teams met for discussions, in-depth discussions, and workshops on marketing and communication strategies, as well as for final registrations before the official schedule is published.
The regular season will open on October 19, 2025, and close on March 29th to accommodate the playoffs, which will once again feature the top eight teams, rather than the top seven as in last season. Three midweek rounds are scheduled for December 3rd, March 4th, and March 18th, but the games will no longer be played on Boxing Day. The Coppa Italia, with its quarterfinals, semifinals, and final, returns mid-season between January 22nd and February 22nd, taking into account the first half of the season standings. The Supercoppa, to be played on Easter Monday, April 6th, will pit the regular season winner (and not the newly promoted team) against the Coppa Italia winner.
Consoli Sferc Centrale del Latte’s campaign will begin at newly promoted Romeo Sorrento and conclude in Porto Viro. The debut at the San Filippo is scheduled for matchday two on Sunday the 26th against Fano. The first derby against Cantù will be played in Brescia at the San Filippo on December 21st.
