Emma Villas Codyeco Lupi Siena’s first preseason test match, scheduled for tomorrow (Saturday, September 6th) at PalaBarton Energy against reigning European champions Sir Safety Perugia, has been canceled. Coach Francesco Petrella’s team continues training at PalaParenti in Santa Croce sull’Arno; the team is now in its third week of preparation, working toward the start of the regular season.
The Tuscans’ first test match will now be on September 20th in Ravenna. Emma Villas Codyeco Lupi Siena will therefore face a direct competitor in the upcoming Serie A2 championship, a team that faced Emma Villas Siena in the quarterfinals of the A2 playoffs a few months ago.
