From the next sports season, Delta Volley Porto Viro will no longer be branded Delta Group. While waiting for the announcement of the new title sponsor, an extraordinary cycle comes to an end that has seen the Portovirese agri-food company link its name to some of the most significant pages in the black-fuchsia history.
A journey that began in 2021 with the final of the Coppa Italia A2/A3 and the subsequent promotion to Serie A2 – when the main sponsorship was shared between Delta Group and Rico Carni –, and then continued with four unforgettable seasons in the second national category: the miraculous salvation at the debut, the third place in the Regular Season the following year, the semifinals reached both in the Play Offs and in the Coppa Italia in the 2023/2024 season, up to the last, exciting salvation achieved last March 2 in Reggio Emilia.
The President of Delta Volley, Luigi Veronese, greets the outgoing title sponsor with gratitude: “On behalf of the entire company, I want to thank Delta Group and the Scabin family for the support, trust and passion shown in these years. The journey we have made together has been important and full of satisfaction, always lived with great respect and mutual collaboration. We are proud to have shared such a significant part of our history with them”.
