A year of ups and downs, it was the season that just ended for the youth sector of Campi Reali Cantù. The last place in the standings of both the Serie D Under 19 team and the First Division Under 17 were offset by the climb up the hierarchy of territorial volleyball by the Under 15, and the second participation in the DelMonte® Boy League by the Under 14, with the first Cantù victory in this event. Below is the analysis of the Technical Director of the Youth Sector Alessio Zingoni.

THE SUMMARY – The year was extremely positive both internally and in terms of the path. We only lacked the result on the field that certifies the quality of our work, which is now quite automated, with almost all our coaches being at least in their second year of work in Cantù and with me. Yes, we missed this result, but as Sports Director Maurizio Cairoli and Youth Sector Manager Stefano ‘Tete’ Pozzi see it, and as I see it on a technical level, the victory must be the end of a journey, and not the weekly objective. The resounding result that could have put ‘the icing on the cake’ did not happen, but in terms of construction, and technical, tactical, physical and educational work on the boys we were very good. And we have to recognize this. We had an excellent journey by all the teams at Under level based on their own possibilities.
