PLAY OFF SERIE A2 CREDEM BANCA – THE FORMULA
The top seven teams at the end of the Credem Banca Serie A2 Regular Season take part in the Play Offs: the first-placed team goes directly to the Semi-Finals, while the teams ranked from 2nd to 7th place play the Quarter Finals. All the Play Off series are the best of three matches. The teams ranked 13th and 14th at the end of the Regular Season are relegated. There will be no Play Outs. The Serie A2 Credem Banca Play Off Quarter Finals series has a double value: the winning teams, in addition to qualifying for the Play Off Semi-Finals, automatically access (together with the first-placed team of the Regular Season) also the Del Monte® Coppa Italia Serie A2 Quarter Finals. The teams defeated in the Play Off Quarters instead, start in the Coppa Italia from the Round of 16, together with the teams from 8th to 12th place. The pairing between the 4 winners of the Round of 16 and the 4 teams already qualified for the Quarters will be drawn.
