Wednesday, April 30 will be a special day for Yuasa Battery Grottazzolina and the entire citizenry. The heart of the historic center, namely Piazza Marconi, will be the theater from 7:00 p.m. of the ceremony to award Honorary Citizenship to the architects of the historic promotion to Superleague 2023-2024, followed by the awarding of Yuasa Battery Grottazzolina for the salvation in Superleague achieved this season. At 8:00 p.m., at the end of the ceremony, a convivial moment based on typical products is planned, with free admission for all. The mayor of Grottazzolina, Alberto Antognozzi, underlines the importance of this moment: “The choice of Piazza Marconi was made precisely to allow the entire population to participate, which would have been very complicated if the ceremony had taken place in the council chamber. The choice of honorary citizenship was proposed by me a year ago after the promotion to the Superleague: I had announced that I would promote it and so it was with the favorable vote of the City Council. The transition to the Superleague has brought great prestige to Grottazzolina and an absolute level of relevance. This first year in the Superleague has put us under the media spotlight in all respects and a further icing on the cake recently arrived with the salvation. So this magnificent journey will continue, guaranteeing other splendid days of sport.
