It wasn’t just a Christmas toast. It was a collective embrace, lasting an entire evening, that took place at Villa Serita for the traditional “Christmas with Champions,” a symbolic event for the M&G Volleyball School. Two hundred and fifty people gathered in one place, with the same passion in their eyes and a single heartbeat: for the Yuasa Battery and its historic adventure in the Superleague.
The second Christmas in the top division could only be celebrated like this: all together. The Yuasa Battery first team, the youth teams, coaches, managers, sponsors, fans, families. Different generations united by the same sporting faith, because here volleyball is not just competition, but identity, the pride of a region that has learned to dream big.
The entrance of the Superleague athletes, announced by the unmistakable voice of speaker Claudio Marcaccio and welcomed by two wings of the crowd, provided one of the most emotional moments of the evening. Applause, smiles, handshakes. Even before being champions, these kids are part of a community that supports and accompanies them every day.
