When a world champion enters a small town, it inevitably turns the spotlight on. This is what’s happening these days in Grottazzolina, one of the beating hearts of Marche volleyball, where Carlotta Cambi, setter for Julio Velasco’s Italian national team and fresh winner of the World Championship held in Thailand, has arrived.
Carlotta isn’t here for sporting commitments, but for something more personal and authentic: she’s chosen to spend a few days of well-deserved rest with her partner Marco Falaschi, also a setter, who has been playing for Yuasa Battery Grottazzolina since this year.
