Tomorrow, Tuesday, September 16, Allianz Milano will take the court at the Pavesi Center for their second joint training session of the season. Their opponent will be Negrini CTE Acqui Terme, an ambitious Piedmontese club ready for the upcoming Serie A3 Credem Banca championship. Kick-off is at 2:15 PM. Coach Nicola Daldello will have liberos Catania and Staforini, spikers Recine, Ichino, and Argano, middle blockers Caneschi, Di Martino, and Benacchio, and setter Barbanti.
The opponents, coached by experienced coach Michele Totire, will have a competitive roster, a mix of young and experienced players, including opposite hitter Andrea Argenta, Slovakian Michal Petras, and two spikers; veteran Iacopo Botto, who played in the SuperLega for years, and young Milanese Daniele Carpita, born in 2005, who grew up in the Diavoli Powervolley youth system and is currently playing in San Giustino. For fans, there will be two more open house events at the Pavesi Center this week: Wednesday, September 17, 3:00-5:00 PM and Friday, September 19, 3:00-5:00 PM.
