A new face, but a real hunger for top-notch volleyball. Domotek Volley discusses its new signings, starting with Daniele Buzzi, a middle blocker from Liguria born in 2000. Coming off three top-level seasons in Serie A3 with Avimecc Modica, Buzzi arrives in Reggio to strengthen the middle blockers and bring experience, physicality, and a relentless desire to impress. The volleyball player shared the emotions and motivations that led him to choose the Domotek jersey, revealing his background and ambitions for next season.

The decision to wear the amaranto jersey wasn’t solely dictated by technical reasons. Buzzi, who has faced Reggio Calabria as an opponent for the past two years, confesses to being struck by the atmosphere at the PalaCalafiore: “In these two years as an opponent, I’ve seen an incredible atmosphere: a constant presence in the arena, an extraordinary crowd. Having had the opportunity to come to Reggio has been a source of pride and a huge motivation. Reggio Calabria has proven to be an environment worth experiencing, not just watching. I’ve spoken with the guys who have played there, and they all confirmed that it’s a wonderful place. I can’t wait to get started.” And he adds, with a smile: “Facing Reggio was one of the best experiences as an opponent. It was a true Southern derby, heartfelt and hard-fought. Now I’m on the other side and I want to enjoy it.”
